Season runs from around mid July to mid September.

The average sizes of previous Bluefin Tuna that have been caught are in the range of 150kgs  up to 300+kgs. A game chair is provided for your comfort for what could be a marathon fight with a big beastie! After the first fish has been landed, the boat policy is tag and release to protect the future of this precious fishery.

We supply quality tackle and gear, meals & refreshments. Remember that while game fishing on the Tasman Sea  in the presence of foreign and national trawlers can be dangerous, it can be a lot of fun too!
